Fareham features a covered shopping mall with many well known names and other smaller specialist shops. The open air market is held on Monday and ample parking and a pedestrianised street and seating areas make shopping an enjoyable experience.

The ferry ports of Portsmouth and Southampton are very close. The M27 connects the A3 and M3 to provide direct routes to a number of key destinations.
