Living in Waterlooville & Clanfield

Waterlooville is located alongside the main A3M, which leads directly onto the M27 motorway. Our Waterlooville office is approximately 1.5 miles from the A3M at Junction 3. The area allows easy access via the A3M to Guildford and London. Buses operate around the area on a regular basis and connect with services to Clanfield, Portsmouth, Havant, Petersfield and surrounding areas.

Southampton Airport at Easleigh is approximately 30 miles by road on the M27 motorway and is well served by flights from all over the UK. Regular ferry services to the Isle of Wight, France and Channel Islands operate from both Southampton and Portsmouth.

Entertainment & Sports

For the water enthusiasts, the location is ideal for all water based sports with easy access to Hayling Island, Southsea and Portsmouth. Facilities at Hayling Island, which is approximately 10 miles away, offer a wide variety of water sports including windsurfing, jet ski-ing and sailing.

For those who prefer sports on dry land, Waterlooville offers its very own leisure facilities located in the town (including a swimming complex!). Port Solent, which is approximately 6 miles away from Waterlooville, offers a leading Fitness Centre with outstanding sports facilities, a marina area alongside the boardwalk with plenty of small shops and a large UCI cinema complex.

Fratton Park, the home of Portsmouth’s Football Club, is within easy reach of the area. For those who enjoy the nightlife, there are plenty of nightclubs in Portsmouth, Southsea, Chichester and Petersfield. There is a wide variety of Countryside Pubs that offer a good selection of local cuisine.

For walking enthusiasts, the surrounding Countryside offers some spectacular scenic walks. English Heritage and the National Trust maintain a number of historical sites and properties within a 20 mile radius of Waterlooville.

There is a wide choice of shopping in South Hampshire, all easily accessible via the well-connected road network. Gun Wharf Quay shopping centre is a short drive into Portsmouth or for further retail therapy. Southampton West Quay Shopping Centre boasts a three storey complex, which includes a John Lewis and Marks and Spencer store.

Waterlooville is within easy access to all the leading Supermarkets namely Waitrose, ASDA, Morrisons, Tescos and Sainsbury’s. There are further Retail Outlet Parks within the area that cater for all other shopping requirements.

Designer shops and retail factory outlets can be found in Whiteley Village shopping complex, located off the M27 at Junction 9.

Schools and Healthcare

There is plenty of choice of school facilities in the area with infant, junior and secondary schools being located in the surrounding towns and villages. Further and Higher educational facilities include Southdowns and Highbury Colleges. Portsmouth University is the local University within easy reach of the area and Southampton University is approximately 30 miles drive up the M27 motorway.

Waterlooville offers a Health Centre and various doctor’s surgeries in the local areas, and the local hospitals include St Mary’s and Queen Alexandra in Portsmouth and the Petersfield Hospital.
