Draw a picture for our Change of Address postcards

The drawing competition closed at the end of Feb and we now have our winners!

Every year across the South East hundred of people move into hundreds of homes rented through Leaders. To help them notify their family and friends of their change of address, we hand out a supply of change of address postcards. This year we invited local children from the schools across the South East to draw or paint a picture to appear on these postcards.

Once again there was an overwhelming response to the competition, with around 300 entries received from schools all across our regions.

The standard was high again this year, so as well as our overall winners - who win £250 each for their school, plus £50 vouchers for themselves - we also have a number of runners up in each category. We also received a very lovely letter from a mum of one of the children who entered the competition, which said:

"I wanted to say thank you for coming up with the competition which I really think is a great way of involving children in what goes on around them. We now spot Leaders’ lettings boards and offices when we are out in the car!"

A selection of the artwork will be published on Leaders' website and the winning entries will be displayed in the winners' local Leaders branches. The winning illustrations may also be considered for use in future leaflets, posters and other promotional material produced by Leaders, by entering the competition you granted permission for us to use your illustration in this way.
