Our drawing competition this year had an Olympic theme and we were once again delighted to receive hundreds of pictures from school children across the South. Children aged 4-11 years were invited to create their own Good Luck message for Team GB for a chance to win £250 for their school and £50 gift vouchers for themselves.
Congratulations to Joseph Wareham-Mewse, age 6, from West Moors in Dorset who was the winner of the 4-7 year category with his clever painting of a moving Olympic cyclist ; and to Madeline Hopkin, age 8, from Redhill who won the 8-11 year category with her beautifully drawn Good Luck message.
With the standard so high we also chose a number of runner-up prize winners who will be contacted over the coming weeks to receive a special art kit. They are:
