Letting specialists Leaders have once again been inundated with hundreds of pictures for their annual drawing competition, which this year had an Olympic theme.
Children aged 4-11 across the South were invited to create their own ‘Good Luck Team GB’ message for a chance to win £250 for their school and £50 gift vouchers to buy art equipment for themselves.
Leaders are pleased to announce that nine year old Polly from Downsbrook Middle School in Worthing won a runner-up prize in the competition. Polly’s drawing was bright and eye-catching and made the judge’s smile with its positive message for Team GB.
Polly visited Leaders’ Worthing office in Chapel Road where branch manager Sally Stewart presented her with her certificate and a comprehensive art set, complete with a selection of coloured crayons, pencils, pens and paints. “Congratulations to Polly,” said Sally. “We were totally overwhelmed by the number and quality of the entries we received this year, so she has done very well to win a prize. We would like to thank all the children who took part for their wonderful Good Luck messages; we have sent a selection of all the best ones to Team GB to enjoy ahead of the Olympics.”
As a long established business with a large number of employees
and clients across the South, Leaders are keen to make a positive contribution to the communities in which they operate, whether by helping to raise funds for local charities or sponsoring individuals or community projects. Since their drawing competition began in 2007 they have awarded a total of £3000 to 12 schools and dozens of individual prizes to local children.
