Latest acquisition strengthens Leaders’ position in Cambridge

Leaders is delighted to announce the purchase of the residential lettings and property management portfolio of Ambassador Property Management in Cambridge.

Leaders is relatively new to Cambridge, where it has been trading as Accent Property Management since August this year. Accent Property Management is the brand leader in Cambridge, and won three awards at this year’s Negotiator Awards, including ‘Independent Letting Agency of the Year’, a title it retains from 2009.

Ambassador Property Management will now trade under the Accent Property Management brand, making the firm one of the largest letting agents in Cambridge.

The Ambassador portfolio and staff have joined the Accent Property Management team in their offices, and Leaders extend a warm welcome to them all: Gary Topham, Alex Bloxham, Sandra Riesebieter, Judy Churchward, Caroline George and Sylvie Deslandes.

The merged Accent and Ambassador teams will be moving to newly refurbished premises in Hills Road in the New Year, where they will continue to build on their combined success in the Cambridge market and grow the business in the coming months and years.

Leaders has followed a strategy of growth by acquisition for some time, which it has achieved at a rapid pace. Since 2005, the firm has bought and integrated between 30 and 40 businesses, branches or portfolios.

In recent years Leaders has extended its branch network from Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire into Dorset, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and most recently Cambridgeshire.

Leaders is well respected in the industry, not only for the quality of its letting and property management service, but for the way in which it carries out acquisitions, offering business owners a prompt and fair deal, a smooth transition for landlords and tenants, and  excellent career prospects for employees transferring with the business.

Leaders currently has a number of other acquisitions in the pipeline. Over the next few years the firm plans to acquire further letting businesses across a wider geographical area than before to continue its successful expansion. Any good quality lettings businesses that fit in with and fulfill the company’s philosophy of providing a quality and trustworthy service will be considered.
