Crookham Rovers

Crookham Rovers Under 11 Devils are proud to unveil their brand new away kit this season.

The team plays in the North East Hampshire Youth League (NEHYL) and has been sponsored for the last few years by local property firm Leaders.

Speaking about the season so far, the team’s manager, Steve Hatherly said: “The team have continued to challenge in the NEHYL Premier League with this year moving to a 9 a side format and the challenge of a larger pitch and the introduction of the offside rule. The boys have adjusted well to the changes and we have enjoyed some fantastic matches already this season as they battle every Saturday morning against the best teams from surrounding areas.

“Leaders continued sponsorship has once again been invaluable and the money has been put to great use. This year we have been able to invest both in a complete new away kit for the squad and provide indoor training facilities throughout the winter months when it is very hard to train outdoors due to wet or freezing conditions and many teams have to stop training altogether.”

In preparation for the 2015/16 season, the Under 11 devils (who will then be the U12 Devils!) are looking to recruit players. If you, or anyone you know, would like to join Crookham Rovers Devils, please contact Steve Hatherly at steve_hatherly@computacenter.com or on 07801 450904.

As the area's oldest and largest youth football club, Crookham Rovers FC is more than just a football club. It is also an important part of the community that has helped young people to develop sporting and social skills for over 40 years. The club holds FA Charter Mark status and has been a charitable organisation since 2006.

The club has teams for boys and girls from as young as six and as old as 18. There is also a development squad for children as young as four. Crookham Rovers aims to encourage children and young people to enjoy football, not just as a sport, but also as part of a healthy lifestyle. The aim is to allow them to develop a sense of fairplay, a respect for others and teamwork skills. For more information please visit www.crookham-rovers.org.uk/
