Extreme confidence in Worthing’s property market was apparent at the recent Lions Festival in the town, where one local estate agents opened a pop-up branch on the beach.
Property specialist Leaders, which was the main sponsor of this year’s Worthing Lions Festival, ran a seaside shop on 23rd and 30th July as part of the event’s charity market.
Hundreds of people dropped by to speak with the company’s local property gurus, who were on hand throughout to offer free and impartial advice, insight and information.
Adam Hills, branch manager at Leaders in Chapel Road, says: “We were delighted to be the main sponsor of the Lions Festival, which is undoubtedly one of the town’s most popular and important community events.
“Organisers have just announced they have donated £5,000 to The Worthing Churches Homeless Project, which is a wonderful cause and one we are thrilled to have been able to support through the festival.
“It also gave our team an opportunity to discuss property with a huge number of local people over the two weekends of the festival. The response was overwhelming, with many people declaring an interest in making their next move up the ladder in Worthing and several prospective landlords seeking advice on the best places to invest within the town.
“It all goes to show just how buoyant the market is in Worthing right now and how people can make their next move here with confidence.”
In addition to talking to local homeowners, tenants and investors, the Leaders team handed out thousands of goodies to festival goers, including bags for life, pens, water bottles, Frisbees and colouring books.
Among the highlights of the festival were a classic car display, a spectacular fireworks show and a pop concert by More Radio.
