Staff from Hampshire estate agents Leaders have visited Naomi House & Jacksplace Children’s Hospice to deliver 80 advent calendars to be enjoyed by children and employees.
Property specialists from the company’s Waterlooville, Gosport and Ocean Village branches joined forces to provide the hospice with advent calendars and show their support ahead of the festive season.
Naomi House & Jacksplace is one of 54 children’s hospices across the UK that are supported by umbrella charity Together for Short Lives. Together for Short Lives has been Leaders’ charity partner since 2015 and the estate agents is once again aiming to raise £50,000 for it this year.
Alan Dempsey, sales manager at Leaders in Waterlooville, says: “During the course of our charity partnership with Together for Short Lives we have learned about the incredible work carried out by all the team at Naomi House & Jacksplace and it is extremely pleasing to be able to support them at this time of year.
“We hope all the staff and young people at the children’s hospice enjoy the calendars and they raise much-needed funds in the charity’s shop.”
Lisa Congdon, new business fundraiser at Naomi House & Jacksplace, adds: “We are very grateful to the team at Leaders for the donation of advent calendars. Not only will they help our nursing team to count down to the big day, but we will also be selling them in our Winchester pop-up shop to raise money for our vital care services.”
