Estate agents Leaders’ plans for significant expansion in 2016 remain on track after it added eight new branches to its national network in the last month.
The company completed three acquisitions in different parts of the country between 8th June and 6th July, bringing its total number of branches to 123 in the process.
It started with Watson Mitchell, which operated two branches in Stamford and Bedford, before finalising acquisitions of Hollier Browne and its two branches in Birmingham, as well as Essex-based Allen Estates with its branches in Witham, Halstead, Kelvedon and Braintree.
Matthew Light, acquisitions director at Leaders, says: “Adding eight new Leaders branches in three key markets is fantastic news and allows us to bring our range of sales and lettings services to even more people.
“We are just as thrilled to be expanding our existing presence in Essex as we are to be arriving in the UK’s second city, Birmingham, for the first time.
“Having acquired more than 20 branches in the Midlands since April 2015, we have shown we are committed to reaching the top of this important market. Our new premises in Birmingham will bridge the gap between our existing offices in the West and East Midlands, while further branches in Stamford and Bedford help to widen our reach across the region.”
Watson Mitchell, Hollier Browne and Allen Estates had several decades of combined experience and a strong reputation in their respective areas, which Leaders will be aiming to build on in the coming years.
Matthew adds: “These acquisitions are an important part of our growth plans for 2016, although they are far from the extent of our ambitions this year. A number of additional new branches are in the pipeline and will be announced later in the summer.”
Leaders aims to retain all members of staff with every acquisition and ensure a smooth transaction for everyone involved. Owners of successful sales and lettings businesses considering selling are invited to contact Matthew in confidence by emailing email@example.com.
