Leaders has confirmed experienced auctions specialist Donald Wright has joined the company to head up its auctions department in the south.
Donald, who boasts more than 20 years of experience in the property industry, has previously worked for several auctioneers and estate agents covering Sussex, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight.
He will be based in Emsworth in his new role and will help sellers to bring their properties to local property auctions and realise the many benefits of selling in this way.
Donald says: “I am delighted to have joined Leaders and look forward to expanding our auctions services across the region. I will aim to work with all customers to present them with the option of selling at auction.
“There are many advantages of selling a property at auction, including the certainty it provides and knowledge of a fixed timeframe towards completion. It is remarkably quick and reliable and this will undoubtedly suit many people.
“In addition, auctions can be perfect for selling properties that are subject to issues such as short leases, structural problems or require major refurbishment. We also find land sales to be particularly suited to going under the hammer, as land owners often prefer a certain sale within a defined time.”
Donald’s previous role was as a Senior Auction Valuer and he knows exactly what it takes to maximise the potential of any asset – whether property or land – at auction. He will offer customers the benefit of his experience and advise on exactly how to present a property ahead of its auction date.
Kevin Shaw, National Sales Director at Leaders, adds: “We are extremely pleased to welcome somebody with Donald’s immense experience and knowledge to our team. As part of the ongoing expansion of our sales activities, he will drive forward our auctions services and help more people to achieve a successful sale with Leaders.”
