Estate and letting agents Leaders is creating 50 jobs in Derby after deciding to base its new national administrative hub in the city.
The company’s existing property management facility at Pride Park, which was previously used to manage tenancies across Derby, has now been expanded to oversee all administration for Leaders’ approximately 40,000 rental properties across the UK.
Leaders has chosen to base its national administrative hub in Derby due to its central location, good commuting links for prospective recruits and the presence of an existing skilled and knowledgeable team in its Pride Park office.
Amy Burton, area manager for the Midlands at Leaders, says: “We are centralising the administrative side of our lettings operations by creating a hub in Derby that will deal with all administrative duties related to the tens of thousands of tenancies we manage across 123 branches nationwide.
“Derby’s location and the presence of our existing regional hub in the city made it the obvious choice. We are now looking forward to recruiting more than 50 additional staff members to supplement our existing team in a range of roles, including administrators and managers.
“This is an exciting time for Leaders in Derby as we search for local people with the commitment and passion required to deliver fantastic customer service to all our landlords and tenants across the country.”
Leaders has gone from strength to strength in Derby since acquiring IMS Lettings in 2015 and operates branches in Pride Park, Derby city centre, Belper, Long Eaton and Borrowash.
