Essex property specialist More Estates recently joined Leaders, one of the UK’s leading estate agents, and will adopt the national firm’s name from March 1st.
More Estates’ branches in Chelmsford, Colchester, Braintree and Clacton-on-Sea have been absorbed into Leaders’ network of almost 120 branches across the country.
Dean Phillips, a former shareholder of More Estates and Leaders’ new area manager for Essex, says: “Our teams at each branch remain the same and our aim is to offer the same great service to sellers, landlords, buyers and tenants. However, we will now be able to do so with the support and expertise of a large national business.
“Leaders’ central head office has specialist marketing, client accounts, IT and compliance departments that will allow us to focus on our number one priority - helping local people to achieve their goals in the property market.”
Leaders’ name and branding will be used in Essex from the start of next month and the company will officially launch in the county at the National Landlord Investment Show in Colchester on March 2nd. The event takes place at the Weston Homes Community Stadium between 9am and 3.30pm.
Dean adds: “The show is the perfect place for both prospective investors and existing landlords looking to expand their portfolio to speak with a variety of experts, including our local teams. It also provides an ideal platform for us to launch our new name and show local people what we can offer as Leaders.”
More Estates was founded as The Letting Shop in 1980, before the More Estates name was launched as a specialist sales business in 2003. The two companies were merged by owner Julie Macrae two years ago. She opted to sell the firm to Leaders in order to focus on other interests.
