One of Horsham’s most popular property specialists has been promoted by local estate agents Leaders and will now oversee the company’s branches across Sussex.
Kathy Taylor, who was senior branch manager at Leaders in the town, has worked in Horsham for almost 15 years and is known to thousands of local landlords, tenants and sellers.
She has been appointed as the firm’s new area manager for Sussex and will be replaced in the branch by new lettings manager Josh Weller.
Kathy says: “The excitement surrounding my new challenge is tinged with sadness that I will be leaving a fantastic team in Horsham and a huge number of landlords and sellers that I have enjoyed working with over the last 15 years.
“I have no doubt that Josh will continue to ensure the branch delivers excellent service at all times and helps every customer to achieve their goals in the property market.”
Josh has been with Leaders since 2006, joining the Horsham branch in 2011 and quickly establishing himself as a highly successful lettings consultant. He also worked at several other Leaders branches in Sussex, before returning to Horsham for his most recent role as senior lettings negotiator.
He says: “Following in Kathy’s footsteps will not be easy as I have seen first-hand how well she understands the local market and how she has built an extensive network of contacts in the town.
“But I am delighted to be leading a large team of experienced and successful property experts and we will work extremely hard to offer every customer the benefit of our knowledge and insight.”
Josh is the grandson of the founder of Leaders, the late Neville Lee OBE. Mr Lee is also known as the co-founder of the Association of Residential Letting Agents.
