Dedicated sales progression technology allows estate agents to speed up the process of selling a property and reduce fall-throughs by 20 per cent, according to new research.
National estate agents Leaders, which has completed a successful trial period using View My Chain, found sales completed up to three weeks sooner as a result of using the sales progression platform, while the number of transactions falling through was drastically lowered.
With the majority of people who buy or sell a property describing it as a stressful process and the most common grievance being the time it takes to complete conveyancing, specialist sales progression has the potential to significantly improve satisfaction levels among sellers and buyers.
While some estate agents spend a huge amount of time on the phone to all interested parties during the final stages of a sale, those with View My Chain are able to utilise its chain alerts and prompts to work more efficiently and effectively to reduce completion times.
Kevin Shaw, national sales director at Leaders, says: “Buying or selling a home can be a stressful time, with delays and fall-throughs among the most common concerns. That’s why it is so important for us to be able to offer our customers a unique benefit in the shape of this technology that is proven to reduce the likelihood of such outcomes.
“A study by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills found 69 per cent of sellers and 62 per cent of buyers reported stress and worry during their move and 46 per cent of sellers were concerned about a buyer changing their mind. Working with an estate agents that offers a dedicated sales progression unit is the best way to relieve this stress.
“We are delighted to have signed a long-term deal to use View My Chain and look forward to more of our customers reaping the rewards of this.”
Leaders runs several sales progression teams across the UK, with each committed to managing the sales process and ensuring transactions reach a smooth and speedy completion.
