A Worthing school’s annual summer fair has been deemed a huge success after a day of fun and fundraising.

Local property specialist Leaders sponsored the fair at Broadwater School, which took place on Friday 24th June. It featured a variety of stalls, games, food and opportunities to win prizes - including a Micro Sprite scooter donated by the estate agents.

Adam Hills, branch manager at Leaders in Worthing, says: “We were pleased to be able to play a part in Broadwater School’s summer fair and delighted it went so well. Everybody - including our staff who attended - had a fantastic time.

“Two of our team were on hand throughout the fair to host a game of ‘guess the number of balloons in the car’, which ended with a Year 2 pupil winning the coveted scooter.

All proceeds from the event went towards the school’s fundraising target for refurbishing its swimming pool. In total, more than £5,000 was raised at the summer fair.

Emma Bullock, chairman of Friends at Broadwater School, says: “We would like to say a big thank you to Leaders in Worthing for its sponsorship of the annual summer fair.

“The company’s support throughout the preparations and on the day of the event helped to make the fair a huge success. Thanks to Leaders’ sponsorship, children of Broadwater School were offered the chance to have a free play of a game at the fair and a chance to win some fantastic prizes.”
