Connect Manager (maternity cover) - Worthing
Have you got what it takes to head up our busy and vibrant call centre and to ensure the team achieves the highest standards of customer service at all times?
Leaders Connect is a fast-paced, challenging department in which a variety of tasks are met - from arranging property viewings or valuations on behalf of the company’s 90-plus branches to recognising opportunities to promote our additional services and answering many other customer enquiries. No two days are the same as the Connect team often deliver the first impression of the company to our clients, so it’s vital that standards of service are consistently high.
As Connect Manager, you will be responsible for a large team and will be expected to lead from the front with enthusiasm, organisation and drive.
We are looking for somebody to fill this role on a temporary basis to cover for a maternity absence from June 2015, for a period of 9 to 12 months in line with the job holder’s intended return to work. It offers a great experience for the right person in a developing department in a fast-growing business at a competitive salary.
You must be able to inspire the team, both in their everyday work and in the training sessions you will oversee. You will mentor and manage other members of the team and motivate them to reach their goals, with customer service at the forefront of the department's work.
So what skills and experience do you need to secure the position of Connect Manager?
We are looking for somebody who has call centre management experience, although this does not have to be within the property industry.
You should also be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer service abilities
- A record of working under pressure
Most importantly of all, you must have the personality and passion to lead a team by example and a willingness to develop people.
This role requires you to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings. Leaders Connect operates at these times so it is crucial for you to understand the developing needs of the business by being on duty. It is currently envisaged that the Connect Manager should work one weekend day and one evening per month, although this could increase.
The closing date should be treated as a guide. We reserve the right to close the vacancy once we have received sufficient applications, so we would advise applying as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
