Data Migration and Report Technician - Worthing

We are rapidly expanding our business through acquisition and due to continued expansion; we are looking to recruit an experienced Data Migration and Report Technician within our IT team in Worthing.
This position will be responsible for:
- Taking the lead role in Data Migration tasks to support Leaders strong acquisition strategy - Leaders makes multiple acquisitions annually and a vital component is the extraction of data from source databases into an agreed format for import into our core Property Management Systems
- Creating and scheduling custom reports, data extract and manipulation, data import and entry level database performance monitoring.
- Generating Crystal Reports to support the creation and distribution of custom reports to support a new Human Resources Database
- Custom reporting from multiple databases to key business functions ie HR, Marketing, Finance
- Defining the needs and creating a scheduled reporting solution to meet the needs of Regional Directors and Area Managers summarising business activity to agreed parameters
- Creating report dashboards on the company SharePoint based Intranet
- Joint responsibilities of the IT Department
-Using and recording issues on the helpdesk software
-Assisting in Business Continuity testing and implementation
Position requirements
- Microsoft SharePoint development expertise
- Crystal Reports expertise
- General database query and analysis skills, including creating and scheduling custom reports, data extract and manipulation, data import and low level database performance monitoring. The role is predominantly MS SQL focused however any experience in Oracle would be an advantage but not essential. Leaders use Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, Oracle, MS SQL 2008, 2012.
