As Insight & Channel Effectiveness Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the necessary depth of customer understanding across the business to enable effective decision making and optimise channel ROI. Reporting to the Group Marketing Director, you will measure performance and report on their offline, online and affiliate marketing channels.
You will work closely with the relevant stakeholders to agree a set of KPIs for monitoring the effectiveness of marketing spend within each channel. You will also define and constantly enhance methodologies for tracking these KPIs by channel, plus you will set up and manage the agreed processes.
Your additional responsibilities will include:
•Providing reports to all key stakeholders on an appropriate frequency
•Helping marketing teams to identify opportunities to improve marketing ROI
•Develop a strong understanding of how our existing marketing delivers value to customers
•Measure and report on market size and market share at branch, regional and national level
•Analyse trends and innovation within the market to ensure efficient and effective insight reporting
•Manage the customer insight budget and manage external suppliers to ensure research/insight/measurement is delivered on-time, to quality and represents value for money
•Making robust data-based recommendations that drive revenue and/or margin performance
To secure this outstanding opportunity, you will need:
To have a proven track record of ROI measurement and reporting, for both traditional and digital channels, plus at least 2 years’ experience of monitoring customer touchpoints and allocating budgets to drive optimal performance. An outstanding communicator, you must boast excellent IT, analytical and numerical skills, as well as a good understanding of statistics and customer insight methodologies.
