Learning and Development Manager - 75% travel, based in the south

Do you have the skills required to help hundreds of property industry professionals within a national company to realise their potential through high-quality, bespoke training?

If so, we want to hear from you with a view to becoming our new Learning and Development Manager.

This is a crucial position and one in which you will have a direct impact on the development of our talented staff, so it is important you have the flair and passion required to inspire the team.

You must be happy to travel, as around 75 per cent of your time will be spent visiting our 90-plus branches around the country to assess the learning and development needs of staff and to deliver the tailored training sessions you will design to help achieve the business objectives.

It is also important you live within commuting distance of our head office in Worthing, West Sussex, as the rest of your time will be spent there, working alongside the HR Director to devise the long-term strategy for training in line with the company’s objectives, plus working with the HR team on a variety of exciting projects.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the business, as you will be working with staff at all levels and will utilise a wide range of training tools and techniques in order to help them achieve their desired results on a daily basis.

There is no doubt this is a challenging role that requires an innovative and determined professional. One of your first challenges will be to create the material for a brand new induction process and to implement this.

It is also important you stay on top of all the latest news and advances in the industry, as we will expect these to be incorporated within our training where appropriate.

So what are we looking for in our Learning and Development Manager?

Well, for starters, you must have significant technical experience. This includes a track record of developing learning and creating development plans within the property sector, as well as designing and delivering management development and sales training initiatives.

You will also be:

  • Degree educated or to an equivalent standard with a CIPD qualification
  • Able to share training knowledge with people at all levels
  • Adept at understanding various training methods, delivery mechanisms and measuring return on investment

In return, we can provide an opportunity to join a large, rapidly-expanding company with premises in all four corners of England, and all the opportunities to progress your career and job security you would expect from such an established and sizeable organisation.
