Find a property
Once you have found a property to let which matches your criteria, we will conduct a reference check and contact your guarantors if required. We will then register your deposit in accordance with the Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme.
On the day you move in, we will provide an inventory and verify the condition of the property. You should check this carefully as soon as you receive it as this helps to protect both you and the landlord over the course of the tenancy.

In addition to offering a thorough service prior to you moving into your new home that adheres to all of the relevant legal requirements, we are dedicated to assisting you throughout your tenancy.
If your landlord has chosen to have Leaders manage the property and experience a problem – such as a power failure, the breakdown of a property appliance or a security issue – our team will be on hand to help.
Once we are made aware of any issues in a rented home that we manage, one of our team will immediately seek approval from the landlord for the necessary works to be completed.
We are also on hand to assist should you either wish to renew your tenancy or give notice to leave in accordance with your tenancy agreement.

Pay a little, live a lot with Leaders’ No Deposit Option
Instead of paying a large, upfront deposit, you can now opt to pay a small monthly fee under the No Deposit Option.
Deposit free renting
No one wants to delay their move in order to save up for a deposit, nor do you want your hard earned cash tied up – that’s why we’ve introduced the No Deposit Option. You no longer have to delay a move in order to save for a deposit and, when moving from one rental to another, you won’t end up with two deposits tied up.
Improve your Experian Credit Report
Traditionally rent payments have not been recorded on a tenant’s credit report. Leaders reports information into Experian’s Rental Exchange which means your rent payments will now count towards your credit history and you will be recognised for paying your rent on time in the same way that homeowners are with their mortgage payments.
Reduced energy bills
We’ve partnered with Spark energy to offer an exclusive energy tariff which tracks the market. Each month, you are automatically placed on the cheapest product based on your actual usage, ensuring that your rate is cheaper than all of the Big Six energy suppliers* from the day you move in.
*based on comparison with the Standard Variable Tariffs of npower, SSE, ScottishPower, British Gas, Eon and EDF using a similar payment method. Prices will be compared every month.
