How we sell property

To make sure you achieve the best price for your home, we offer two main selling methods. Before you decide on the best method of sale for you, we will work closely with you to establish your needs and objectives.

  • Estate Agency

Also known as selling ‘private treaty’, this is the best-known method of sale and is the most popular option in the UK.

    • Buyers can view your home by appointment, at times to suit you
    • Your home will be matched with suitable buyers as soon as it goes on the market

    Open House

By opting for the traditional estate agency method, we also offer you the opportunity to market your property with an Open House. This is a great choice for many sellers because:

    • Properties only need to be prepared for viewings once!
    • Your home benefits from the additional marketing of an Open House event
  • Auction

Selling at auction is simple and fast and can, for the right property, generate a better price than traditional methods – especially if your home requires renovation or is particularly unique. You are also able to sell your property by online auction, receiving all the benefits of a traditional auction; certainty, speed and transparency of the sale, but with the added advantage of a pressure-free extended time for bidding.

Benefits of selling a property at auction include:

    • Nationwide promotion of your property, thanks to our extensive marketing network
    • An instruction to exchange window as little as four weeks
    • All prospective bidders must bid publicly for your property or land
    • Exchange of contracts takes place on the day of the auction

Spot on from sales at Leaders. They gave it all on quality marketing, got the buyer, negotiated the sale and got it to the goal - it was a tricky one but we got there in the end. They always talked straight and most importantly they never gave up. The team in lettings were brilliant too. Thanks all you guys!

Leaders were so helpful while me and my partner were trying to find our first flat. They found us an easily affordable and lovely place really quickly and helped so much with getting the process sped up as we were in a hurry. They were always available to help with any questions we had, especially Sam and Aaron! Would defiantly recommend choosing leaders!

We needed to sell our house quickly to secure a retirement apartment which was the last one left.  From the start Katie really helped us market our property quickly, advised us and then Rebecca helped us through the sales process. Exceptional service all round would highly recommend.
