The rental market is extremely competitive, so when you’ve decided on a property, you need to act quickly.
If you’ve rented a property before, you’ll need to provide prospective agents with contact details for your referees, so they can start the referencing process. The letting agent will also perform credit checks.
Unless you are taking up a membership of The Residency and and taking advantage of our no-deposit option, you’ll need to pay a deposit in full to secure the home. We use an independent company to secure your deposit.
The tenancy agreement is a legally binding document and outlines the terms of the tenancy. You need to read this carefully before you sign.
If we’re managing the property, one of our expert move managers will let you know when to collect your keys.
When Leaders manage the property, we visit several times a year to check everything is okay and to ask if you have any questions or concerns.
When your tenancy ends, you and your landlord will have the option to renew the tenancy agreement or make arrangements to leave the property. If you decide to move on, we arrange a check-out with an independent inventory company to check and compile a report detailing the condition of the property.
