If you're a tenant and smell gas, call the National Grid immediately on 0800 111 999 In an emergency (they are available 24 hours a day).

If your Landlord has British Gas Homecare Cover in place then please contact British Gas directly on 0333 2029 560. If your property is managed and you have an emergency maintenance issue out of office hours, and any arrangements, such as British Gas or HomeServe, made by your landlord do not cover your particular emergency, or there is no cover in place, then please call the Leaders Emergency Helpline on 0345 647 2404.
