Coming to the office?

If you come to the office you will notice there are not as many of us as usual. In order to ensure social distancing we have had to reduce office numbers and keep some of our team operating remotely. We have also put up signage both internally and externally to ensure clients know how we are working, including clear guidance on where to stand. Anyone visiting should let us know they are coming so we can limit the number of people who arrive at one time.

Viewing a home or having yours valued?

Since the lockdown began the teams have become excellent at working with virtual viewings and valuations, so where possible we will always advise online methods first. When we need to physically attend a property, we will run through the following with you before we meet:

  • Standard health questions
  • How we will abide by social distancing
  • Any other protective measures we will take

As we are strictly following social distancing measures there will be a reduced number of people in the office at any one time, so there could be a delay to get through to us on the phone. In an emergency

If you're a tenant and smell gas, call the National Grid immediately on 0800 111 999 In an emergency (they are available 24 hours a day).

If your Landlord has British Gas Homecare Cover in place then please contact British Gas directly on 0333 2029 560. If your property is managed and you have an emergency maintenance issue out of office hours, and any arrangements, such as British Gas or HomeServe, made by your landlord do not cover your particular emergency, or there is no cover in place, then please call the Leaders Emergency Out of Hours Helpline* on 0800 652 7577 (after 5:30pm weekdays and all weekends).

*Our out of hours service is managed by an external contractor and is only available for emergency use.
